Minecraft landscape · decorative coverNew capabilities
The release adds x86_64 game and launcher builds for Intel macOS, selected by processor. The launcher shows where native mods are installed and what each instance build plays. Native rebuilds stay on the instance’s Horizon and inside that instance.
Mods and resource packs
- Content mods can declare their own mob effects and item crafting remainders.
- Block items patch their template item’s data components.
- Lithostitched adds limited and guaranteed elements, pool modifiers and processor modifiers.
- Armor made from a mod’s material uses its own textures.
- Resource packs are imported with modpacks.
Fixes and localization
- Windows native builds open without a console window.
- Native mod commit dates are retained so a kept build can work offline.
- Missing Linux-native capabilities are shown before starting, and unusable source tabs are hidden.
- Minecraft account checking is enabled by default for new launcher servers.
- Language selection, German translations and localization of mod, modpack, server and settings interfaces are updated.
- Telemetry-notice and Spanish discount-label overflow are fixed.
Installation
The author states that the launcher updates itself. For a first launch, download the archive for your system, extract it and run horizon-launcher.
