Six chest tiers
Extended Storage adds wooden, iron, golden, diamond, Debris and Netherite chests. Capacity grows from 27 to 135 slots. Its 15 upgrade templates let you improve a chest in the world while keeping its stored items.
Chest capacities
Each tier has a different slot count. Netherite offers the largest capacity, while Debris is the tier immediately below it.
| Chest tier | Slots |
|---|---|
| Wooden | 27 |
| Iron | 54 |
| Golden | 81 |
| Diamond | 108 |
| Debris | 117 |
| Netherite | 135 |

Using upgrade templates
Hold the appropriate template, sneak and right-click the placed chest. The author states that upgrading preserves its contents; JsonMore supplies this in-world interaction.
- Direct upgrades move to the adjacent tier and preserve the base material.
- Skip-level upgrades use intermediate templates to reach a higher tier.
- Two lower upgrade templates can be combined into a higher one.
Dependencies and older releases
The description lists JsonThings for Forge and NeoForge variants. JsonMore is already bundled in the mod JAR and needs no separate installation.
The CyclopsCore requirement is crossed out: the author says it is no longer needed after version 1.3.0. Check requirements against the specific mod release.
Selected release files
The following rows come from the author’s file metadata. Each row describes a specific release; the project’s overall platform list does not make every JAR compatible with every loader.
